Frequently asked

Planning an event in Bali?

What is the weather like and when is the best time to hold an event?

Bali has two seasons: dry (April to October) and wet (November to March). The dry season is ideal for outdoor programming, with warm temperatures around 27 to 30 degrees Celsius and low humidity. Shoulder months like April and October offer great value with minimal rain risk.

What should attendees pack or wear?

Smart-casual is the norm at most venues. Light, breathable fabrics work best given the tropical heat. If you are planning a temple visit or traditional ceremony, attendees will need a sarong and sash, which most venues and temples supply on-site.

How does Bali accommodate dietary requirements?

Bali's culinary scene is exceptionally diverse. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal options are widely available, particularly in Ubud and Seminyak. Inform your venue of specific dietary needs at least two weeks in advance so they can tailor menus accordingly.

What is the alcohol policy for group events?

Alcohol is legal and widely available in Bali at hotels, restaurants and licensed venues. However, if your group includes attendees who do not drink, local venues are well-practised at offering full mocktail menus and alcohol-free table options. Some traditional ceremony experiences are alcohol-free by cultural convention.

How do groups get around between venues and activities?

Private minivans and chartered coaches are the standard for group transfers and are very affordable in Bali. Your venue or a local DMC can arrange a dedicated fleet for the duration of the offsite. Ride-hailing apps such as Gojek and Grab also work well for smaller groups and free-time evenings. Note that Ubud and Uluwatu transfers from Denpasar can take 60 to 90 minutes depending on traffic.
